Creating & sending quotes
Share quotes and invoices on WhatsApp
Updated
A lot of trades and clients live on WhatsApp. Jotquote lets you send a quote or invoice there in one tap, with the link and a message ready to go — sent from your own WhatsApp.
- Open a quote (or an invoice) and click the green WhatsApp button.
- WhatsApp opens with the link and a message pre-filled — to the client's number if you've saved it.
- Review and hit send.
From your own number
Messages go from your personal WhatsApp, not a third party — so it feels personal and there's no extra cost or API to set up.
Customise the message
In Settings → WhatsApp sharing you can edit the default message template (with placeholders for the client, your business, the title, total and link) and toggle WhatsApp sharing on or off.
Prefer email or a plain link? See send a quote.
Frequently asked questions
Does it use the WhatsApp Business API?
No. It opens WhatsApp (app or WhatsApp Web) with the message pre-filled, so it sends from your own number with no API, approval or extra cost.
Can I attach the PDF to WhatsApp?
The message includes a link to the quote, where the client can view it and download the PDF themselves — a link is more reliable and lets you see when it's opened.
