Invoices & getting paid
Set up your invoice payment details
Updated
An invoice gets paid faster when it's obvious how to pay. Jotquote shows a clear How to pay section on every invoice using the details you save once in Settings.
Add your bank details
In Settings → Invoice payment details, fill in the relevant fields — account name, bank, account number, sort code/routing, IBAN, SWIFT/BIC and who cheques are payable to. Only the fields you complete are shown, so it stays tidy.
Set payment terms
Payment terms (e.g. Net 14) set the invoice's due date. You can set terms per client, so converting their quote to an invoice always uses the right deadline. New to terms? See payment terms explained.
Shown on the invoice
Your bank details and terms appear in the invoice's How to pay block — on both the web view and the PDF — so clients always know exactly how and when to pay.

Frequently asked questions
Where do my bank details appear?
In the 'How to pay' section of every invoice — on both the on-screen version and the downloadable PDF. Only the fields you fill in are displayed.
Can different clients have different payment terms?
Yes. You can set terms per client, and the due date on their invoices is calculated from those terms automatically.
